Award-winning artist Dominick DePaolo's creations are a favorite of Long Grove patrons at Cassandra's. From nostalgic drawings of his Classic Cowboy Heroes and B-Western SideKicks to fine art paintings in oils and acrylics to colored pencil portraits of people, pets and homes from photos, his realistic work is evocative of America's most innocent days. Now growing is Mr. DePaolo's local area mural work including everything from a little something on a powder room wall to a huge, sweeping spiral staircase foyer. Wonderful "kids" room specialties are also a favorite.

Nick's newest venture is his Oil Painting, Acrylics, Water Color and Drawing Classes taught right AT the Long Grove Art School located in the Cassandra's of Long Grove building. The painting classes provide instant gratification for the novice or someone with a little training because after EACH 2 hour class, they leave with a finished canvas. Drawing classes are to learn the basics. Nick uses his 45 years of experience and his 15 years of teaching to provide these classes. Reasonable prices. All supplies provided. More information.
